81-year old Cate Lamont helped cut the celebration cake yesterday with Steve Wettenhall MP to get an early lead on Queensland Week June 6-13.
Steve Wettenhall, Member for Barron River and Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, presented Cate, and 13 other nominees, certificates and a book titled "Tracks of Triumph" - a tribute to the pioneers who built the Kuranda Scenic Railway, in front of 100 family members, friends and work colleagues at the 4th Annual Barron River 2010 Queensland Day Awards.

Free swine flu vaccinations continue in Term 2 |

Queensland Health will be operating a second round of free swine flu vaccination clinics throughout the state from this weekend.
Member for Barron River, Steve Wettenhall said the clinic would be held at Cairns State High School on Saturday, 17 April from 10am to 4pm.
